Job Description

This position is for the role of a Java and Groovy developer for the localizations team within OHI Components suite of Products

Roles & Responsibilities include

Develop, test, debug, and maintain Java and Groovy integrations and processing logic

Collaborate with other team members on assignments

Estimate tasks and meet milestones and deadlines appropriately

Report progress on tasks and projects and mentor junior team members

Essential skills

At least 6+ years of Development experience

Experience in Java and a dynamically typed language such as Groovy, Python, Ruby or Javascript

Development skills with REST apis

Outstanding communication skills, verbally and written.

Proven analytical and problem-solving abilities, with keen attention to detail

Design, develop, troubleshoot and debug software programs for databases, applications, tools, networks etc.

As a member of the software engineering division, you will assist in defining and developing software for tasks associated with the developing, debugging or designing of software applications or operating systems. Provide technical leadership to other software developers. Specify, design and implement modest changes to existing software architecture to meet changing needs.

Duties and tasks are varied and complex needing independent judgment. Fully competent in own area of expertise. May have project lead role and or supervise lower level personnel. BS or MS degree or equivalent experience relevant to functional area. 6 years of software engineering or related experience.
